Twelve months in the spotlight.
A year-round youth theatre on a real professional stage, right here in Jackson Hole.
What Playtime is
Not a class in a gym. A professional theatre that hands its stage to children. Kids rehearse where the professionals rehearse, in real costumes from our own shop, taught by the working actors and musicians of the resident company. Then they perform for a real audience on a stage that’s more than a hundred years old. No child auditions to get in, no child is cut, and scholarships make sure cost never decides who gets cast.
Programs
Camps, classes, and productions for kids, taught by the working actors and musicians of the resident company. Everyone is welcome, and scholarships make sure cost never decides who gets cast.
No auditions. No one is cut. Everyone gets a part!
Restore the Playhouse
$250,000 to keep the lights on all year. The Jackson Hole Playhouse at 145 W. Deloney has staged professional theatre for decades, but only in season. A new balcony, a reinforced roof, and insulation will make the building usable through Jackson winters. That opens the door to year-round youth classes, productions, and scholarships.
Three ways in
Donate: fund a scholarship, insulate a section of the building, or put your name on the new balcony.
Volunteer: help with camp check-in, costumes, sets, ushering at youth performances, mailings, and event nights.
Friends of the Playhouse: join our giving circle and help keep the lights on all year.
